About the Musical
The Chosen Ones is a new musical by Aaron Alon about a group of young LGBTQ+ people in a conversion therapy camp. This production is presented as part of our John Steven Kellett Memorial Series of works relating to LGBTQ+ equity. It will be directed by Aisha Ussery and music directed by Phillip Hall. This is a world premiere of this new work and the first public performance outside of a Thunderclap’s preview of the first seven songs at the 2024 Mix-MATCH festival in Houston.
